HMS was officially incorporated in October 1996. The original vision came from a partnership between a hospital system and a home health care organization seeking to deliver community health care services of the highest quality in the most cost effective manner. The philosophy was simple: HMS would provide exceptional financial services and business solutions while the provider would concentrate on exceptional patient care. The one element that proved critical to its success was the foundation on which HMS was built: it had over a decade of experience as an actual provider entity so it understood the business from the inside/out as well as from the outside/in. Today, fifteen years later and millions of claims processed on behalf of its clients; HMS continues to provide practical solutions that help our providers navigate the complex health care market while delivering quality services more effectively and profitably.
